Liz Helenek


Liz, a transplant from New Jersey, relocated to Marietta in 1979. A graduate of Kean College in New Jersey she became a Real Estate Agent in 1983 and a Broker in 1989. As a 36 year veteran she has weathered many changes in the Real Estate Business. Working with investors she has sold apartment complexes, short-sales, foreclosures and single- family homes. She has also been a Real Estate Appraiser.

Focusing now on representing Sellers with marketing their homes, resales, and new construction, she is particularly known for her patience with First Time Buyers. She enjoys working with Seniors helping them to downsize and holds the Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) and the Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), both from the National Association of Realtors.

As a member of the community she is President of South Square Neighborhood Association advocating for homeowners who reside south of the Marietta Square.

An Organic Gardener, she plants her seasonal flower beds and vegetable plot, specializing in different varieties of peppers. A Writer, she has finished a book on houses and a collection of poetry entitled “The Naming of the Trees.” As an Artist she works primarily with watercolors and belongs to the Georgia Watercolor Society.
